Hello there! I’m Dr. Kelsie, chief resident physician in a family practice program in Wisconsin. I’m a proud Army veteran, an east coast transplant thriving and planting roots in the midwest, a passionate advocate for wellness, and above all, a mother of three wonderful children and two Golden Retrievers.
My journey into medicine started in high school when my mother bravely fought lung cancer. Her experience profoundly influenced my perspective on healthcare and inspired me to pursue a career dedicated to helping people live their healthiest, fullest lives.
I took my first steps into the medical field after college, and after serving in the Army for three years in the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska. This experience not only honed my discipline and resilience, but it also nurtured my love for fitness and the outdoors. After my service, I followed my passion to Pennsylvania, where I attended medical school, diving headfirst into the world of medicine.
Along the way, I’ve been fortunate enough to call many places home – Pennsylvania, New York, Georgia, Alaska, a brief stint in Minnesota, and now, beautiful Wisconsin. Each move, each new chapter, has added depth and texture to my life and my medical practice.
As a physician, my guiding principle is this: I am committed to keeping you as healthy as possible for as long as possible. My approach emphasizes prevention and lifestyle modifications over medical or drug interventions, except when absolutely necessary. It’s not just about adding years to your life, but life to your years.
Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find me embracing the midwestern outdoors—hiking, biking, or kayaking. I believe strongly in the restorative power of nature and the role it plays in holistic well-being.
Join me as we embark on a journey towards a healthier, happier life. Together, we can make the most of every moment, every breath. Here’s to living well!
